Did you know there is an order of applying skincare and makeup that helps you get the most out of your products and avoid one big mixed up mess? Here’s a general overview!
- Cleanse
- Moisturize/Skin Treatments – Allow a few minutes in between the products to properly absorb into the skin. Keep the number of products to a minimum at this step. Too much can affect the makeup finish or longevity, or just not blend well.
- Sunblock/Sunscreen – These also need several minutes to absorb. Most importantly, apply at least 15 to 30 minutes before sun exposure!
- Primer – Usually needs about 30 seconds to 1 minute to set and dry to create a smooth base.
- Makeup
